Students in Mrs. Haub's 7th grade ELA class created Valentine's Day cards from the point of view of one character to another character in the novel Bud, Not Buddy. The card was created based on the events of the book and the relationships the characters had throughout the plot.

BCMS students have been notified that the Mardi Gras Open Gym event scheduled for after school today, Friday, February 16th, has been postponed. The reschedule date will be announced at a later time. Students who planned to participate were directed to notify parents/guardians.

As Trimester 2 ends today, please be aware that there will be no school for students on Monday (Feb. 19th). February 19th, is a teacher record day. Classes resume for students on Tuesday, Feb. 20th. Students will receive their Trimester 3 schedules in TRIBE on Tuesday.
Due to the inclement weather school closing on Friday, January 19th, BCMS will be in session on "snow make-up day" of Monday, February 12th.

The 8th grad Class of 2028 visits BCHS for their freshman scheduling orientation. They make a stop during their building tour to learn about Introduction to Engineering.

Prior to getting the snow this morning, Mrs. Cunningham's 6th grade science students practiced their STEM skills by designing, testing, and reconfiguring (as needed) their Lunar Landers.




Students in Ms. Pace's 6th grade ELA classes demonstrated their knowledge and creative skills on Storyboard (digital storytelling) about the novel Maniac Magee. Students described a theme they learned from the book, and created their own unique illustration.




To celebrate Ms. Ault's 45 years of dedication and service to education, BCMS is hosting a retirement reception at the middle school the afternoon of Wednesday, May 15th, from 3:30-5:00PM in the BCMS Library. Colleagues and friends of the community are invited to attend.

The winners of Mrs. Johnson’s 7th grade Social Studies competition (as voted by the 6th grade students). Students had to recreate a monument from around the world 🌎. The winners recreated the Chichén Itzá from the Mayan Empire.

BCMS Tribal Council students shop for this year's 2023 Christmas Cheer. BCMS students, with support from the community, raised $5,100 for the purchase of 1,055 gifts for 225 children this Christmas!
