BCMS grade 8 students are learning the results of their career interest inventory and what that means about the future careers they may want to explore.


Mr. Wischmeier’s students are busy separating the sunflower seeds from the flower cones. The seeds will be air dried and saved for planting in the spring.




BCMS students, who have been earning BRAVE Bucks through the first six weeks of the school year, visit the LMC where the BRAVE Buck Reward Store was set up and open for business last Friday. Earning BRAVE Bucks pays in more ways than one! Make good "Three R" decisions, and reap the reward!




Construction of the worm farm took place on Friday in Mr. Wischmeier's agriculture class. The composting farm will house 1000 red wigglers starting this week.



Mrs. Johnson’s students take time to simulate walking stairs as they reflect on 9/11 and those first responders who went into the towers.

Mrs. Schepman's grade 6 math students experience all the emotions one might have while in math class: confusion, trying, figuring out, frustrations, trying again, and success, all while learning communication, collaborating, and having fun!

BRAVES today learn about BIRDS of prey!


Sixth graders recently learned about space and rockets in science class. They created rockets in art. All three classes launched them outside measuring and converting distances in math class.

BCMS students take a little time today to celebrate at the ILEARN Carnival after completing this year's ILEARN state testing!
