
Rainy Friday’s are for the birds! Mr. Wischmeier's students hold the roosters today for the first time.. Who needs video games!!!




More reporting from Mr. Wischmeier's Ag classroom: "Corn planting is under way. Several varieties planted including popcorn, Indian corn, and sweetcorn. We also planted two rows of bush beans. "




Mr. Wischmeier's T3 Ag classes report: The March 15 potato starts emerging on April 15. 12 dozen chicks were hatched on Tuesday April 16. The class also added more shrimp to the shrimp farm this week.




BCCSC schools will be on a TWO HOUR delay for today, Thursday, April 3rd.

BCMS students taking advantage of warm days and dry soil to get some early spring tillage completed running the garden tiller. And, planting some early potatoes in the garden. They then applied a heavy layer of leaves as mulch over the planted areas.





BCMS students get the opportunity to spend some of the BRAVE Bucks that they have been earning over the last several weeks just before heading into Spring Break!

Mr. Wischmeier's BCMS Ag class students are: planting green peppers and tomatoes, filling flats with potting soil, chitting potatoes (with planting to come), preparing for an indoor shrimp farm, and (not pictures) marigolds sprouting already from last week's planting.





BCMS 8th Grade ELA students created a Black History Quilt during the month of February.



Mrs. Cunningham's 6th grade science students making "waves!" Students use slinkys to create waves in this science lab experiment.





The BCMS 8th grade Class of 2029 visited the BNL Career Center on Friday, February 21st, to learn about vocational class opportunities at the high school.


BCMS recognized our winter sports athletes this afternoon, and played some light hearted girls versus boys games . . . with our lady winter athletes beating our gentlemen in head-to-head competition!!!





BCCSC schools will be on a TWO HOUR delay for today, Thursday, February 20th.

BCMS had 6 ensembles and 9 soloists compete at this past Saturday's ISSMA Solo and Ensemble contest. All ensembles and soloists earned gold!!! Great job BCMS band students!!!
